Having grown up in an international environment in Zurich, Switzerland - this small independent country so tightly hugged by its big neighbours - I have always been fascinated by other languages and ways of life. Following my French teacher's suggestion, I decided to study German, English and French translation at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (former Zurich School of Translation and Interpreting).

I now have over 20 years‘ experience in translating and proofreading a broad range of texts mainly in English and German, and I have worked in employed positions and as a freelance translator.

 

 

Working with me gives you a bespoke, professional and friendly service. I accept relatively tight deadlines (although additional fees may apply) and am committed to a high-quality service. I place great value on the coherence, style, consistency and accuracy of a text and will always strive to make a difference by creating a piece of writing that is suited to your target audience and gets your particular message across. This includes translating or adapting an existing text to suit a Swiss audience.
